Denise

Denise received her degree in dental hygiene from Shawnee State University.  She has 15 years experience and has worked in this office since 1998.  She enjoys meeting people.  As a dental hygienist, she wants to help them keep their mouths healthy in the most comfortable way.  

In addition to caring for patients here, Denise  enjoys spending time with her children at home.  She and her husband have a son and a daughter.  They are involved with their son's school and sporting events.   Denise likes to garden, travel, cook and bake.  She attends sporting events of all kinds, is active in her church, and enjoys spending time with her family.

 

Cheryl

Cheryl earned a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 1976 and a Bachelors in Education in 1977, both at The Ohio State University.  She started working at this office in 1996.  She enjoys helping people who are fearful have a positive dental experience and to learn about their dental health.

Outside the office, Cheryl enjoys gardening with fish ponds, roses, and perennials.  She paints and is interested in photography.   She stays active with biking, hiking, camping and traveling.    She has been married for over 30 years to her husband, an independent financial advisor.  They have a grown son who attends who is studying to be an electrician.

Ann 

Ann has been a dental hygienist in this office since 2001.  She graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in dental hygiene in 1994.  She enjoys working as part of a team to deliver high quality dental care for her patients. 

Ann is married, has five grown children and two grandsons and a granddaughter (and counting).  She enjoys many sports including golfing with her husband and kickboxing.  She watches the food channel and loves to try new recipes.

 

 

Dental Assistants Jeannette, Julie, Connie, and Jane work with each of the dentists to provide you with the best dental experience possible.

Jeanette

Jeanette started working with Dr. Goldberg in 1995; she has been a dental assistant for 16 years.  She likes meeting new patients and helping them to relax when they are here for treatment.  She enjoys seeing the results of cosmetic cases and loves her co-workers. 

Outside the office, Jeanette enjoys spending time with her husband, and daughter.  During the warm months they spend a lot of time at the pool.  They enjoy bowling, going out to dinner and watching movies together with friends.

 

Julie

Julie has assisted Dr. Goldberg since 2002.  Originally from California, Julie started her career as a dental assistant there.  As an assistant, she feels compassion for people having dental problems.  She likes helping patients have a positive experience in the office.  She enjoys seeing the dramatic results of cosmetic dentistry and being part of a great office team. 

Julie tries to spend as much of her free time as possible with her family.  She is married and has three beautiful children, three wonderful grandsons, and a golden retriever named Mayla.  She likes camping, playing cards, reading, photography, and scrapbooking.  The Dallas Cowboys and Buckeyes are #1 at her house. 

 

Jane

Jane is a dental assistant with certification for expanded functions (EFDA), which means she has been trained to do additional procedures such as placing fillings.  She works primarily with Dr. Bednar.  Jane has worked in our office for a long time and enjoys the lasting relationships she has made with co-workers and patients. 

Jane and her husband both enjoy long distance walking, tending to their garden and spending time with their family.

 

Connie

Connie retired May 2008 after working in our office since 1977.  She is a graduate of Wehrle High School and the Paul C. Hayes Technical School for dental assisting.  Connie works primarily with Dr. Bednar and has enjoyed getting to know her patients over the years and spending time with her co-workers. 

Connie and her husband have three daughters.  The oldest teaches high school math and is married and has children.  The younger two daughters attend Capital University.  All three play tennis.  In her spare time, Connie loves to watch her girls play tennis, and she enjoys knitting and reading. 

 

The Administrative Staff includes Debbie, Lynnette, and Jan.  They work together to make appointments, accept payments and help with insurance issues.

Debbie

Debbie has worked with Dr. Goldberg for over 30 years.  She started as a dental assistant and later on earned her EFDA (expanded functions) certification.   At present, Debbie covers the front desk as the appointment secretary.  Because of her knowledge and experience as a dental assistant, she is able to answer many questions patients have regarding their treatment.

At home, Debbie and her husband have a new addition to their family, their dog, Max who joins Mandi who is now 8 years old.  They can be a handful but are learning to get along together.   Debbie is very active in her church and she enjoys gardening and spending time with her extended family.

 

Jan

Jan is accounts manager for all three doctors.  She handles insurance claims and billing.  She has been on staff here since 2004 and brings with her many years of experience in dealing with the financial aspect of the practice. 

In her spare time, Jan and her husband breed and show Afghan hounds.  They travel from coast to coast with dogs in tow, including a recent entry to Westminister in New York City.

   

Lynnette

Lynnette greets patients with a friendly smile at the front window in the reception area.  She helps schedule appointments and deal with dental insurance issues.  She enjoys working with patients and helping her co-workers. 

Lynnette is married and has two grown daughters and four grandchildren.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, going to the movies and eating ethnic food.
